A ruined circular castle dating from the 13th Century. Open all year round, with seasonal timings. Fantastically atmospheric, you can often see wedding processions filled with kilted gentlemen guests and accompanying bagpipe players.
A Victorian gothic mansion situated in beautiful gardens and woodland. The house encompasses a white marble Catholic chapel, ans a star encrusted hallway amongst other sights of interest. Open seasonally, it is possible to enjoy guided tours.
On leaving the pier continue straight up the High Street, continue past the Castle and the Police Station on your right. Then take the first main road on your right, the B878, follow the road for approximately two miles. At the Greenan Mill junction continue straight on as the road becomes the A844. At the end of the straight run, which has a beech wood on the left, the driveway to Stewart Hall is on the left-hand side, marked by 7 stones on either side of the entrance.
